Remembrance Sunday

Mossley Band were proud to play for the Remembrance Service in Mossley.  

The weather was perfect, and representatives from the Mossley Band laid a wreath in memory of those who had fallen.  

The minutes silence was observed, and the band then led the procession back up to George Lawton Hall.

It was a busy day for the band, as they also had a community Concert of Remembrance hosted by friends at Mossley AFC in the afternoon, so they enjoyed a superb lunch provided by Fresh 'n' Tasty  of Royton in their recently renovated Band Club before heading to play at the concert.

This was the first concert of what is hoped to be an annual event.
